Crooks steal thousands of dollars in cigars

TAMARAC, Fla. (WSVN) A group of burglars was caught on camera entering a business through the roof and making off with thousands of dollars worth of cigars.

So far in this whole flap, no one has addressed the impact on the (non student) wage employees who work in the dining halls and in facilities jobs (lawn mowing, snow removal, repairs, etc.). Unless this is also being cast as a "more jobs" act, because the universities that rely on the wage staff to fill in gaps will have to hire more people to cover the 40 hour work week many of these people put in for example, the dining hall workers, limited to 1,500 hours per year, who can work full time from August to May (with time off during semester breaks) and come in under that ceiling. VT has been hiring people to work for 35 hours a week year around for years now, just so they don't have to pay health insurance.
